Creative writing. A cooperative story

It was late in the evening when we decided to take a walk with our friends in the forest.
It was getting darker and darker when we finally reached the castle. It was a scary and weird place, but Athanasia and I had been there before, so we wanted to show that place to our friends, as well.

We found the entrance to the castle and we got in at once! But the door, suddenly, shut by itself! We started feeling a bit strange but we tried to remain as calm as possible! The castle was huge..We didn't know which way to follow.

Suddenly, a creepy sound was heard and a ghost appeared in front of us! We weren't afraid and we asked him who he was.  He answered to us in a polite way.  He told us that he wanted to find his son, Hamlet, and that he was his father.  We told him our story and we also adviced him to go upstairs, since we hadn't met anyone on our way in.  In fact, we told him to go to the eighth room, as we saw someone looking out from its window, so we thought that he could be Hamlet.

He did go on the upper floor and there he met Hamlet.  He told his son the truth about his death and asked him to take revenge.  He came to us again, he seemed relieved now.  He gave twenty huge bags full of candies to each one of us to thank us:))) We were so excited! He also showed us a shorter way to go home. He was so kind and we felt sorry for his death, too!

What would you do if you saw a ghost?

We were on a train to the castle. I was walking with my two friends and I felt happy, comfortable and safe. Looking around the place everything looked as usual. The castle was colossal, very pretty and interesting. Suddenly, we heard a noise. We felt scared, frightened. The noise repeated, and when we looked around we saw a ghost. It was ugly, big and familiar. It seemed to want to tell us something. Our hearts beat. We stopped and panicked, thinking about what we can do. We ran to a car and drove back to the city. After that we never visited the castle again. We still don’t know what the ghost wanted.

One day I was walking near a castle with my friends when we decided to get in. We saw a long corridor. After that, we saw a door with a lot of light. My friend and I entered the room. Suddenly, I saw a ghost. He didn’t say anything. He looked like my uncle.
We ran out of the castle. We were scared. I told my parents but they didn’t believe me. At the end I got mad. I don’t know anything about my friends. I think the police are still looking for them.

Activity

Close your eyes and relax.
Imagine a cold, dark night.
You are with 2 of your friends.
You walk towards a castle.
You know this place, because you have been here before.
As you look around, you see everything, as it should be.
The castle is large and extraordinary.
There are large gates at each end.
You enter one of the gates.
Inside, as you talk and laugh with your friends, you hear a noise.
It startles you, because it is usually quiet on nights like these.
You hear the noise again.
Scared, you and your friends look up and see a ghost.
The ghost doesn’t speak, yet he looks familiar.
What do you do?
Do you speak to the ghost, or do you run and hide?
Are you scared?
Do you fill the goose bumps on your arms? Is the hair on the back of your neck standing
up?
Who is this ghost you see?
Suddenly, the ghost disappears into thin air.
You are left there wondering what is happening.
Now, tell your muscles to begin to move.
Open your eyes.
Stretch.
Take out a piece of paper and write about your experience.
